【ARCFE News】 CONGRESS OFFICIALLY REAUTHORIZED EB-5 REGIONAL CENTER

The EB-5 Regional Center Reauthorization and the EB-5 Reform bill was confirmed earlier this week to be attached to the $1.5 Trillion Omnibus package. The package passed by the House of Representatives on Wednesday and by the Senate on Thursday by a 68-31 vote. It is now on President Biden’s desk waiting for his signature. We expect everything to be finalized and the program to officially come back on Tuesday March 15th.

For the first time in history, the program is reauthorized for the length of 5 years (until September 30th, 2027). Along with the reauthorization is many modifications and reforms to the EB-5 program as a whole, including: increase investment amounts, more protection for investors, stricter regional center regulations, and many more.

We thank Senator Grassley and Senator Leahy for their efforts in reauthorizing the EB-5 Regional Center Program. And we also applaud the strong fight that AIIA has put up on behalf of the EB-5 industry. ARCFE is a proud donor of AIIA and their campaign in reauthorizing EB-5 RC.
