Brookfield is reportedly in exclusive talks to acquire a stake in Hudson Square Properties, a 13-building office portfolio located in and around Manhattan’s Hudson Square neighborhood. According to Commercial Observer, the proposed transaction would give Brookfield a 10 percent ownership interest in the portfolio, which is being valued at approximately $3.5 billion.
