Regional Center Designation And Approval
The American Regional Center was designated as such by the United States Department of Homeland Security on March 5, 2013. On October 9, 2013, ARCFE’s application to expand to additional regions (such as counties in New Jersey and Connecticut) was approved. ARCFE provides capital for a wide range of job-creating development projects throughout New York City. Our current geographic regions include Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Nassau, Westchester, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster County in New York; Litchfield, New Haven, and Fairfield County in Connecticut; Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, and Union County in New Jersey.
